This is Week 2 of my 52 Week iPhoneography Challenge. Follow me here every week for new photos.
Week 2
This photo was taken at a local dog park using the Camera+ app with textures and levels adjusted in Photoforge2. There’s been a bit of a furore lately about dogs in parks on and off leash. This is a reserve where dogs are only allowed on leash, unfortunately I only ever see dogs off leash. I just hope no local wildlife are hurt by dogs.I've noticed that I’m either too light-handed or too heavy-handed with textures and other settings. A little more time spent in editing the photos is called for (and a few more photo apps ;) ). I’m really looking forward to getting my new iPhone this week, hopefully before I upload the next photo.
If you have followed my Projects 2012 board on Pinterest you might have noticed that I’ve pinned lots of crochet projects. I’m halfway through the Owlets at the moment and hope to show you some photos and the finished product this week.
After that I’ll have to slot in some time to crochet a new iPhone cover before I move on to the next project, which one I haven’t decided yet. The beauty of crochet is that you can have multiple projects on the go, all you have to do is use a stitch marker to keep your work from unravelling. The dragon will definitely be done in a dark purple acrylic yarn, that needs to be worked on in full daylight. I haven’t decided on the colours for the Mary Jane style slippers yet but the Ripple Blanket will be in nice bright cotton colours.
